Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor`s Degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university, as well as seven (7) years of full-time, increasingly responsible professional civil engineering experience in the assigned discipline, including significant supervisory/management experience. A Master`s Degree is highly desirable. Candidates must also possess or have the ability to obtain and retain, a valid Driver’s License, and must possess a valid Certificate of Registration as a Civil Engineer in the State of California.

The annual salary range for the City Engineer is $150,418 to $174, 376; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience. The City also offers an excellent benefits package.
