Reporting directly to the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director of Human Resources is an executive, at-will member of the District`s executive leadership team responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership, and oversight for all human resources functions. This position plays a critical role in advancing the District`s organizational goals by developing innovative human resources strategies, policies, and programs that foster a high-performing, engaged, and customer-focused workforce. The District seeks a collaborative, strategic, and emotionally intelligent human resources executive who will foster a positive workplace culture while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, managers, employees, and labor partners. A bachelor`s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Public Administration, or a closely related field is required. The successful candidate will also possess at least eight years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including a minimum of four years in a management or supervisory role. Additional qualifying education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
The annual salary range for the Executive Director of Human Resources is $226,454 - $279,737; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
