The Rent Stabilization Manager leads the City’s efforts to preserve the affordability, availability, and inclusiveness of housing in West Hollywood. The Manager supervises thirteen full-time staff members to deliver the regulatory functions that ensure fair and equitable treatment of tenants and landlords within the City’s housing market. The Division operates a public counter, telephone line, provides mediation services and rent adjustment hearings, and hosts the City’s inclusionary housing waitlist. This position manages initiatives to strengthen rent stabilization and affordability programs and processes. The City of West Hollywood is seeking a thoughtful and approachable leader with strong communication and relationship-building abilities to serve as Rent Stabilization Manager. The annual salary range for the Rent Stabilization Manager is $183,669 - $241,733; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
