The City of Dublin is situated approximately 35 miles east of San Francisco and 30 miles northeast of Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area. Under general direction from the City Manager, the Community Development Director is responsible for all activities and operations of the Community Development Department including planning, building inspection and zoning, and environmental review services and programs. The City of Dublin is seeking a hands-on, seasoned, community development professional to be the next Community Development Director. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is skilled in customer service with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. The new Community Development Director will have experience with urban planning and growth, economic development, personnel management, and budget development and administration.
The annual salary range for the Community Development Director is $211,757 to $264,483; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
