In the heart of Southern California is the City of Irvine, located 40 miles southeast of Los Angeles and six miles from the ocean in Orange County. The area offers a Mediterranean climate and encompasses over 66 square miles. This area blends natural beauty with urban sophistication and offers many recreational activities for residents and visitors to enjoy. Irvine Adult Day Health Services (IADHS) is a vital community resource for families caring for an older or disabled loved one. IADHS offers daytime social engagement opportunities and personalized health monitoring and supportive services to individuals experiencing memory loss, mobility challenges, and other chronic health conditions. IADHS was founded in 1994 as a non-profit charitable organization in collaboration between the City of Irvine, then Irvine Medical Center, Irvine Health Foundation, Kaiser Permanente, The Irvine Company, and a visionary group of dedicated volunteer community leaders. The Executive Director will bring passion and commitment to the mission of IADHS, and will lead the work of the organization with credibility and persuasiveness to engage the community. This position is responsible for developing and implementing an administrative plan and procedures to ensure clearly defined lines of responsibility, equitable workloads, and adequate supervision of staff and participants. Irvine Adult Day Health Services Inc. is seeking a strategic, dynamic, and innovative candidate to serve as the next Executive Director. A visionary candidate with a proven track record of building community partnerships and mentoring staff is desired. The new Executive Director has the ability to create cohesion, inspire staff, and listen to the staff’s needs and feedback.

Qualified candidates posses either a Master’s Degree plus one (1) year of successful experience in a responsible managerial, administrative, or supervisory position in a social, health service program or agency, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s Degree plus three (3) years of successful experience in a responsible managerial, administrative or supervisory position in a social, health service program or agency, or a related field.

The salary range for the Executive Director is $140,000 to $165,000 annually. Salary placement is determined based on experience and qualifications. IADHS also offers an excellent benefits package.
