The new Finance Director will join a well-established and thriving local municipality. Under general direction from the Assistant City Manager, the Finance Director will manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Finance Department, including financial reporting, general accounting, payroll, budget preparation, fiscal policy analysis and recommendations, debt administration, revenue management, and business license processing. The City of San Rafael is seeking a progressive and seasoned Finance Director. The ideal candidate will be a creative out-of-the-box thinker who is willing to make difficult decisions. The City of San Rafael offers an attractive compensation and benefits program. The salary range for this position is $164,124 – $199,500 annually; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
