The City of Ontario seeks an Innovation, Performance and Audit Director to lead the evolution of the Innovation, Performance and Audit (IPA) Department. IPA works to identify and implement innovative solutions to improve the City’s delivery or services to the public. The IPA Director will act as an internal consultant to the City as it continues to define purpose, role and vision. Qualified candidates will possess the equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree in one of these fields is highly desirable. Five (5) or more years of professional experience in project and program management, negotiations, and contract administration is required; experience within a public sector agency is preferred. The annual salary range for the Innovation, Performance, and Audit Director is $129,646.40 - $181,001.60; placement within this range is dependent upon qualifications.
