The City of Orinda is seeking a highly qualified, enthusiastic candidate to fill the Administrative Services Director position. The Administrative Services Department includes Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology and Human Resources. A confident, approachable leader and skilled administrator is sought. A candidate with a sound background in finance is highly desirable. Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible public administration, financial management, and operations experience in a governmental setting and at least three (3) years supervision of professional and support staff. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or a closely related field is required; designation as a Certified Public Accountant or Certified Public Finance Officer is desirable but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The annual salary for the Administrative Services Director position is $161,430-$196,975; placement within this range is dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
