Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) was formed to secure a safe, reliable source of water for the mountainous area west of the City of Los Angeles and provides services to the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Westlake Village and neighboring unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. LVMWD currently provides water service to approximately 70,000 people, including residential and commercial customers over a 122-square-mile service area. The District is seeking a dynamic and proven leader for their Human Resources Manager. Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Typically, a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or related field with major coursework in personnel administration or human resources is required. A Master’s degree is preferred; SPHR-CA certification is desirable. Qualified candidates should possess five (5) or more years of human resources and senior level management experience. A candidate with a municipal, state, or federal government experience, HR consulting, or private sector HR management is preferred. The annual salary range for the Human Resources Manager is $136,678.80-$191,318.40. Placement within this range is dependent upon qualifications.
