The City of Roseville seeks a Police Chief who is a collaborative, inclusive, and responsive leader. The successful candidate will be committed to community-oriented policing with strong management and administrative skills. The Police Chief reports to the Assistant City Manager over public safety, oversees five direct reports, and approximately 204 staff (144 sworn; 66 professional/non-sworn), and an annual budget of approximately $46.7 million. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible experience in law enforcement administration, including three (3) years of administrative and management responsibility AND Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
