Denver South Economic Development Partnership (DSEDP), is a 501(c)(6) public private partnership supporting the economic development efforts of the Denver South region that includes portions of the cities of Centennial, Greenwood Village and Lone Tree, the City and County of Denver and Arapahoe and Douglas Counties. DSEDP seeks a Vice President of Economic Development whose values and priorities align with DSEDP’s vision, mission and goals. The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated, innovative, affable, goal-oriented, and results-driven individual that can lead a small team and build trusting sustainable relationships; a motivating leader with the ability to develop and manage staff possessing excellent interpersonal skills. Perpetuating and improving the current open, collaborative, and successful working relationships with the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation (MDEDC) and other partnerships, brokers, site selectors, and local businesses is a primary focus for this role. At a minimum, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business, Finance, Economics Public Administration, or closely related field. Candidates must possess a minimum of ten (10) years regional economic development or related experience with demonstrated success in working with the public and private sectors; including at least three (3) years of executive level experience in economic development. The salary for the Vice President of Economic Development is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
